Las Residencias del Instituto Internacional es un espacio diseñado para los alumnos donde podrán desarrollarse integralmente, teniendo las Instalaciones de vivienda dentro del campus.El programa de residencias será un espacio propicio para hacer amistades, ya que tendremos actividades extracurriculares deportivas y culturales en las cuales se fomentará la integración, solidaridad y el equilibrio físico, mental y emocional.

El Instituto Internacional será pionero en ofrecer residencias estudiantiles en la región de Chapala, se inaugurará a partir del próximo ciclo escolar 2015-2016 este programa estará dentro de nuestras instalaciones, las cuales albergaran estudiantes de secundaria hasta preparatoria.

Este proyecto fue desarrollado por Aarón Baker, quien tiene una amplia experiencia en Universidades de Estados Unidos.

Las estancias estudiantiles ofrecerán dormitorios comunes y privados, los cuales estarán equipados y tendrán espacios comunes como estancias y comedor.

Cuenta con dos modalidades que pueden ser 7 días a la semana o 5 días (entran domingo en la noche y salen el viernes en la tarde).

Una habitacion para tres personas con baño privado, y la segunda dormitorio general con baño compartido.

Los costos mensuales en el programa de 5 días:

2200 MXN en habitación triple
1500 MXN en habitación general

Los costos mensuales en el programa de 7 días:

5000 MXN en habitación triple
3500 MXN en habitación general

Esta cuota incluye el pago de energía eléctrica, agua potable, gas, internet inalambrico, teléfono para llamadas externas, lavandería, cocina compartida, seguro médico, servicio de limpieza y seguridad 24/7. Ademas de tener acceso al restaurante dentro del campus The Lovin´ Spoonful, el cual ofrece paquetes mensuales/semanales de comida.

Todos los estudiantes tienen acceso a viajes a Ajijic o Chapala. Los estudiantes del programa de 7 días tienen acceso a un viaje al mes afuera de la ciudad a destinos como Guadalajara entre otros lugares turísticos.

The residential facilities on the International Institute campus are spaces designed so that foreign students and students from outside of Ajijic/Chapala area can take part in the unique educational opportunity the school affords and helps them to fully integrate into the school community.The residential program provides support structures and peer groups to help each student succeed. Students taking part in our residential program will have the opportunity to take part in cultural and athletic extracurricular activities which are designed to help them become healthy and balanced members of the school community.

The International Institute is a pioneer in offering student housing in the Chapala region. For 2015-2016 school year, we will be offering two residential programs:

Five Day Program – Students in the Five Day Program will arrive to campus on Sunday evenings and return home after classes on Friday. Residents wishing a place to stay on weekends locally may have the option to stay with the family of a classmate, which can help the student be more immersed in the local customs and traditions. This plan will cost $2,200 MXN monthly (open-floor plan room) and $5,000 MXN monthly (private suite).


Seven Day Program – This program is especially designed for international students or students from other areas of Mexico. The residences will be open the entire week at an extra housing expense. Additional services will be provided on the weekends to help students have access to local resources. This plan will cost $1,500 MXN monthly (open-floor plan room) and $3,500 MXN monthly (private suite).

This fee includes electricity, water, gas, wireless internet, external phone calls, washer and dryer, shared kitchen, medical insurance, cleaning service, and 24/7 security. In addition, students have access to the campus restaurant, The Lovin’ Spoonful, where they can purchase monthly or weekly food packages.

All students have access to Ajijic and Chapala trips. Students in the 7-day program have access to a monthly trip to destinations such as Guadalajara and other tourist sites.

The dorm facilities will include smaller, more private suites for upperclass students as well as larger, open-floor plan rooms. All rooms are fully furnished and have ample room for study. A large common room and a dining facility are available for use during certain hours.
